Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency is the use of less energy in a home to perform the same operation as homes that consume energy inefficiently. It should be considered during the design stage, selection of construction materials, construction process, and operation of the home.

Low Maintenance and Operational Cost

Energy Star products are certified to meet strict energy efficiency criteria set by the US Environmental Protection Agency or the US Department of Energy. These products use less energy, save you money on your electricity bill, and help protect the environment by causing fewer harmful emissions from power plants. Energy Star certified bulbs use about 70-90% less energy and produce about 70% less heat than traditional incandescent bulbs, and last about 10 to 25 times longer.
